The brief:
A welding calibration, certification and servicing business wanted a logo update.

The solution:
With lots of different welding techniques, I did not want to focus on any one in particular, and thus look to be favouring one type in the eyes of the clients (welding professionals). So I focused on the flash, or spark, synonymous with all welding techniques to create an industrial yet stylish logo.
