Acorn Childcare

The brief:
Acorn Childcare, a growing childcare business really needed to update their identity and create a professional prospectus to position them above their local competition as they expanded, as well as updates to several other identities for related businesses that were developed along the way.

The solution:
Wanting to recognise the core business (nurturing and developing children), but conscious that the target audience was actually the parents (professional grown ups), I developed a bold illustrative style akin to children’s story book illustrations, rolling the same style out across several other logos and a prospectus document, mixing information with illustration to create a ‘story book for adults’.

Bobbyflash has been great to work with, capturing the feel of our organisation in the 5 logos and prospectus they have created for us. The quality of their work has been first class, achieving just the right balance of listening to our ideas, suggesting improvements, and taking on board feedback to develop the ideas further.
